This is what I like to see, creativity on a skateboard.
Skateboarding continues to progress.
Riley Hawk, Tony Hawk’s son, is going down a different skate path…I like it.
Paul Rodriguez is one of those skaters that does not stop learning. Some out there have their select few tricks and just do them over and over again at different spots. This guy…he progresses. This one of of the best video parts of the year, easily. To think SuperFuture isn’t even out yet? His part is going to be crazy.

Switch Stance
I see parts where they just, Jerry Hsu (Stay Gold), skate switch stance. I mean that’s difficult and really amazing to see but I think it comes to the point where we’re just seeing the same things. Like, okay it’s just a crooked grind again…I think i’d rather see some creativity and innovation than a part in switch, and if they can do both!?! More power to them. For instance, a switch tre down a set OR kickflip late shove down a set? Haha, just some thoughts. Who knows, the way skating is progressing now, anything is possible.
